Role: Mainframe Dev
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Remote
Role Summary:
A core technical resource responsible for the daily development, maintenance, and support of the mainframe health claims applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and deploy code changes for claims processing systems based on technical specifications.
• Monitor daily batch jobs and resolve ABENDs within defined SLA timelines.
• Assist in unit and integration testing of new healthcare compliance updates.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and runbooks for the Operate team.
*Required Skills:**
• 4-6 years of experience in Mainframe application development (COBOL, JCL, DB2).
• Familiarity with incident and change management processes (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Prior experience in the healthcare/insurance domain is highly preferred.
